CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION

BMX  stunting  can  and  will  be  noticed  if  more  stunters  continue  to  show  dedication  and  loyalty  to  the  sport  just  like  any other  sport  there  is. Aspiring  stunters  in Botswana  should  look out for  professional  BMXers/stunters  that  already  exist  and  also  make  use  of  the "skate park"  in  Molapo crossing.

Venturing  into  a  new sport  can open  doors  and  create  opportunities  for  you  in  terms  of  skills. You  may  actually  get  to learn  that  you  are  good  at  that  sport   and  can  get  better  at  it if  there  is  enough  motivation  and  inspiration.

BMX  stunters  should  strive  for  perseverance  at  all  times. They  should  keep  on doing  what  they  are  doing  whether  they  are  getting  sponsors  out  of  it  or  not. In the  long  run,  hopefully  when  the  sport  gets  more  recognition  the  government  can  decide  to  register  and  confirm  it  as a  sport  and  it  may  have  more  sponsors  to fund  them  during  competitions!!!

BMX STUNTING IS  A  WAY  OF LIFE!!!!!!!!!!

Is BMX stunting illegal in Botswana?

 illegal or NOT

In my opinion, the act of stunting is NOT  illegal. Its the act of causing damage to other people's property that is a criminal act weather it be with a stunt bicycle, crow bar, or an apple pie.
The answer all depends on a combination of the municipality you live, where you are riding, and how you are riding.

For those who argue that stunting  is a destructive activity that damages cement, marble, railings, etc, and associate it with bodies and bicycles flying through the air, do not have a full grasp of the sport. "Freestyle" or 'street stunting' are often responsible for the damage that occurs to property but are only 1 segment of many disciplines of stunting.

There are many disciplines of stunting that pose little risk to hand railings and cement curbs such as "slalom stunting" where the rider navigates a series of pylons or 'cones' set in a row one after another.

There are "carving" and "pumping" stunts that allow the rider to propel themselves forward with a side to side hip movement, an ideal activity for a flat bike path or open schoolyard.
