THE SIGNIFICANCE OF  WARM UP
Warm up is categorized into two, there is general warm up specific warm. Specific warm up is strictly done to target specific muscles that are going to be used to engage in a particular sporting activity and general warm up undertaken to prepare the whole body for a particular activity.
Warm is significant in the sense that it ensure that the body temperature level is increased as well as oxygen intake to ensure that the body of an athlete is ready to undertake a sporting activity. It also allows the hormonal processes, meaning adrenalin which helps in body arousal to ensure that the body of an athlete reaches it optimum performance level.
Warm up ensures that the muscles are stretched properly and lactic acid which causes cramps and muscles pulls is cleared off the muscles. This ensures that an athlete can perform at their optimum level of performance and achieve desired results in their sporting activity.
